Here are some pictures of the mandolins I've built. The first is the mandolin whose contruction is documented on these pages.

The second is one that I designed after some inspiration from the images on Roger Bacorn's web site (http://www.clarityconnect.com/webpages4/reb/).

Mando #3, is my first attempt to build an accurate copy of a Loar - other than finish, that is. I don't think any Loars had a nitrocellulose lacquer finish.
