Welcome to my "Building a Mandolin" Web site!
After many years away from the mandolin, I recently took it up again, and began my first attempt at building an instrument.
In my first year, I'd finished 3 mandolins and 2 guitars. Be careful, as this hobby is addictive!
While this site follows the completion of that first mandolin, there are some pictures of the other instruments as well. Look at the Images and Guitars pages as well as My Shop for pictures of my shop, and My Latest Mando which has pictures of my latest under construction.

This is not a site to show you the proper way to build a mandolin! It simply documents my first attempt. I do many things much differently today after a few years of practice and learning.
